These filters are extraordinary! The coffee is sweeter and the "mouth-feel" is exceptionally smooth, I will definitely be using them and recommending them to all my friends.
Nice and easy to use. Great that you can do a pre-infusion at 1 or 2 bar pressure before increasing. Hasn't taken long to get used to. The workflow is nice and easy once you get the hang of it.
High quality and solid built, super easy to assemble, excellent work flow and intuitive.
Gorgeous design and aesthetic. Quality product build. Impeccable service. Pulls delicious coffee. The Brua3 Max is perfect for my daily coffee therapy needs!
Extra emphasis on the great service from Newton Espresso, I stuffed up one of the screws on assembling the Brua3 and reached out for some help. Hayden was super responsive, and went the extra mile to sort me out. Thank you so much!
Just perfect
Can make a perfect espresso at home
The shape, texture, and minimalist design of this espresso machine — everything about it is just perfect.
La verdad que una elegancia, lo mejor de todo es que puedo controlar la presión y el grupo es E61, es súper estética y no ocupa tanto espacio 10/10
This product is just amazing. It is beautifully designed, crafted and thought out. The workflow is so simple yet so reliable. Everything screams quality and good coffee. Highly recommend.
I've always been fascinated by how well newton espresso designs their products. I'm all for the minimalist design + functionality. The Newton Espresso BRUA is such a great addition to my minimal coffee setup. I like that it has a drip tray, the pressure gauge (life saver~ esp. for beginners) a 58mm porta filter (which I can play around with in case I want a customized porta). Lastly, it makes great coffee!!
I’ve used the Brua3 Max for a couple of weeks now. It’s a pleasure using it! I always loved the idea of taking your time and enjoying the process of manual brewing your coffee. This machine pulls really yummy shots. Best of all the looks! 😍 that matte black and slim profile will fit perfectly on any counter tops.
I recently purchased the Brua3 Max from Newton Espresso and I regret to say that I cannot recommend it to international buyers. The product arrived with a broken pressure gauge and while I understand that shipping issues can occur the overall experience has been disappointing.
I immediately reported the issue and was promised a replacement. However it’s been over four weeks, and I am still waiting for the part, which has rendered the product unusable in the meantime. To make matters worse the company’s return policy does not allow for a return, leaving me stuck with a faulty machine that I cannot even send back for a refund or exchange.
For international buyers the combination of long wait times for replacements and a restrictive return policy makes this purchase risky and frustrating. While the Brua3Max might be a good product when functioning as intended my experience with the broken gauge, poor customer service, and inability to return the item has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. I hope Newton Espresso reevaluates its policies and support for overseas customers.
Hi Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Brua3 Max. I sincerely regret that your experience has not been a positive one. I would like to clarify that while our return policy does allow for returns and refunds, customers are required to send the product back to us.
I understand that shipping delays, especially during the Christmas period, can be frustrating, and I apologise that this has affected your replacement part. I strive for high customer service standards as many positive reviews will support, but I am genuinely sorry that you feel I fell short in your case.
I appreciate your feedback and hope to improve our services for international customers in the future.
A piece of art in coffee making! This machine is a great example of hard work and it didn’t disappoint! Easy to control the pressure and insulation in the brewing chamber makes it so much easier to pull great tasting espresso! And once you get a grip on it and workout your perfect workflow it becomes an everyday experience you want to come back to! Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
After a long wait since the Brua S2, I finally purchased my first manual lever espresso machine, and I am extremely satisfied. Although I'm still in the trial-and-error phase, it makes it easy to produce excellent espresso. I was initially concerned about the chamber's heat retention, but it's remarkably efficient, allowing me to extract espresso that's sufficiently hot, and pressure control is straightforward. Since it was a pre-order, the first unit had a defect, so I had to exchange it once, but the customer service was outstanding and friendly, and the issue was resolved quickly.
I have been using the Newton Brua since its inception and I have found it easy to use, with an enjoyably efficient workflow. I have now purchased the Newton Brua3 Max. (2024)
This machine is beautiful to look at, fun to use, and makes a seriously good coffee. Brua Max3 has amplified the original design and I absolutely recommend it. I am finding new heights in manual espresso making.
Love the Brua3Max. Customer service was excellent and very prompt with their response. It's a really beautiful product and my husband raves about it. He uses it daily and enjoys the process of making his morning coffee.
Love the attention to detail.
Suits my aesthetic perfectly! Not only does it look great, but it makes really good espresso.
The most enjoyable espresso maker I have ever used!!
Before using the Brua3 Max I thought making good espresso required an expensive automatic machine like the one in the office at work, but the the Brua3 with the insulated brew chamber has completely changed my mind. Now I find I get better coffee with the Brua3 and it's so much more fun to use!
Highly recommend A++
Amazing little machine. Super value and the defect is barely noticeable. I ordered the pressure gauge from a local vendor and now I'm set.

Received the Newton scale and have used it to weigh beans prior to grinding. Also used the timer function to time shots and set the proper grind. Overall, does those jobs well. While the timer is advertised as being automatic when sensing the start of liquid pour, it’s not appropriate for typical espresso machines that include a pre-infusion stage to the shot as no liquid is sensed during that time.
The unit is small. Good for space savings, but feels less substantial than the price suggests.
Charged it up weeks ago and is still going strong on that first charge.
The instructions are minimal. Would have liked to see a more thorough tutorial on how to use effectively for various coffee brewing methods.
A YouTube video perhaps?
Great for around the coffee machine. The dark color hides any coffee stains. Also very absorbent and great for drying the inside of the portafilter before dosing. There’s a fluffy side and a smoother side for all your needs.
Being slightly clumsy, this small device has added preciseness and enjoyment to my coffee making.
